If you have spent any significant amount of time on my blog then you have probably noticed that I am a Compassionate Entrepreneur with Trades of Hope and that I absolutely love it! In fact, Trades of Hope is actually what first brought my attention to fast fashion and taught me that there was such a thing as ethical fashion and fair trade! (I know, what rock was I living under?)
So what exactly is Trades of Hope?
Trades of Hope is a missional direct sales company that sells ethically produced jewelry, accessories, home decor, and more to help empower women out of poverty around the world. We are committed to helping keep families together and fighting human trafficking. Trades of Hope is not a charity or nonprofit organization. It is a business and has been a member of the Fair Trade Federation since 2016.
Trades of Hope allows women in the United States to start their own business (and have a discount on beautiful ethical jewelry) while doing good across the globe.
We are business partners with Artisans.
With Compassionate Entrepreneur business partners representing them, sharing their stories and selling their goods in the US, Artisans around the world are able to receive fair and living wages, as well as have sustainable work. This dignified work empowers women to rise up out of poverty.
“At Trades of Hope, we believe all women should live with unapologetic joy and confident freedom.”
As you can see Trades of Hope is SO MUCH MORE than just a direct sales company.
- It is a movement of hope
- It is a sisterhood of strong, beautiful, loving, compassionate world changers
- It is shopping that makes a difference
- It is fashion as a force for good
